Amura was founded in January 2010 by a team of five College of Engineering, Pune graduates - Vikram Kotnis, Ketan Sabnis, Vinayak Katkar, Pratik Rokade and Kiran Narasareddy.
Aware that no company was providing technical tools to complement its services, they set out to make an impact on the SME market. With a vision for providing a combination of platforms and services, Amura launched its first platform in less than a year from conception – a lead capture platform that incorporated live chat and peripheral tracking.
From 25 clients in 2010, the company today has over 100 clients for services and over 150 clients using Sell.Do.
The Amura family, in the meanwhile, has also grown – from the team of 5 to over 200 members with an innovation team and a data science team.
From its start in real estate marketing & sales, the firm has now expanded across verticals to establish a footprint in the education, pharmaceutical, healthcare and F&B sectors.
In 2016 alone, Amura designed and launched an internal proprietary ad automation platform that uses AI to set up and manage ad campaigns across all advertisers. The platform reduces campaign go-live time by 80% and has already improved accuracy and ROI by as much as 40%.

Vikram has prior technology experience with Fortune 500 companies like Sun Microsystem, AMD and has worked for LendingTree as their Decision Engine Architect. He later co-founded Mortgage Data Systems - a finance startup in the US. After a successful stint, he made a move to India and co-founded Axilon Technologies; which was later acquired by Axis Technical Group. Sighting an opportunity with Digital Marketing in India and an inclination to create a product/platform company; he co-founded Amura. His astute business sense & leadership is the guiding torch for Amura & its talented team.
Ketan is co-founder and Product Head at Amura. Digital entrepreneur with expertise in data-driven marketing, lead generation and B2B software, he spearheads product innovation and architecture design for Amura’s technology platform – Sell.Do. With hands-on technology experience and in-depth understanding of digital marketing; Ketan has been instrumental in charting the product roadmap for Sell.Do and has successfully executed the go-to market strategy.
Vinayak is the Co-founder and Director at Amura. He looks after marketing strategy, operations and finance of the company. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from College of Engg. Pune. His sound analytical skills & data driven insights have helped many companies to solve complex business problems and increase their top line. Being curious by nature, Vinayak is always on the lookout for the next innovation. He is also responsible for design and roadmap of Amura's various technology products and solutions. He is an avid reader and fond of genres like mythology, economics and behavioral economics.
Kiran heads the Technology division at Amura. With a passion for all things tech, he is always on the lookout for the latest trends and has been successful in leveraging them to maintain Amura's competitive advantage in the digital space.
Kiran's expertise in technology took root right from his college days, where he built a complex decision-making engine for the US mortgage industry. Consequently, his proficiency in defining high level design & architecture, his data modelling skills as well as his acute interest in executing large scale systems have helped Amura launch Sell.Do, an industry leader in Real Estate Sales & Marketing Automation.
Ram has worked across the gamut of organizations, from start-ups to global MNCs. He has served as a VP and Country Manager for SapientNitro where his experience covered executive responsibilities for every area of business from marketing and sales to regional capability development.
In 2012, he and his team were honored at the National Infocomm Awards in Singapore for a project on Next-Generation Banking Experience. An IIM Ahmadabad alumnus, Ram brings decades of first-hand senior executive experience of working in big organizations like Rediffusion Y&R, Rediff.com, Leo Burnet etc.
His track record for building successful teams, including an award-winning digital agency that supported global clients such as Coca-Cola, Seagrams, Taco Bell and Citibank, gives Ram both credibility with his clients as well as real understanding of the challenges they face.
